I decided to do a master study after some time away from them in light of my most recent painting. I actually found it so much more beneficial to do a master study with more of a focus on what my own paintings were lacking. I hope to do more Sargent studies because I love how he composes his paintings and draws focus on the sitter's face. This as well as his brushwork! Look out for more Sargent studies soon! I'm hoping they'll pay off.
